Psychological Evaluation or Psychological Testing entails the administration of objective and standardized psychological tests used to reflect a client’s cognitive abilities, emotional functioning, personality, and behaviors among other psychological constructs.  

 

Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation refers to the integration of information obtained from psychological tests, clinical interview, and personal history among other sources of information.  Each Psychological Evaluation is tailored to meet the patient’s needs and type of evaluation requested.  Patients may be referred for a psychological evaluation by their physicians, attorneys, psychiatrists, employer, or themselves. These evaluations assist Psychologists in providing diagnostic clarity and recommendations for medical or mental health treatment, medication management, and improved cognitive and emotional functioning.
